Client Success Stories

Check out some of my client success stories below. I am proud to have been able to help them achieve their physique goals. Way to go guys!

Angela Scheer

I started lifting weights as early as high school, but did not truly get serious about it until after high school graduation. I had always been active while in school, doing school sports such as track, volleyball, cheerleading and wrestling, but once I graduated, I no longer had a sport to occupy my time. Therefore, I started hitting the gym pretty seriously.

Once I decided to compete in figure and fitness, I contacted Nicole to help me with contest prep.  I started training with her 10 weeks before my first show and noticed a change in my body within the first week. It is truly amazing working with Nicole, because she knows exactly what needs to get done in order to get into contest shape. From the workouts to the diet, she tailors them specifically for each individual. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with Nicole and I credit her with much of my success. Thank you Nicole!

I want to start by saying thank you for all of your help. In the beginning when the plan was that I was going to do a show I had no idea the amount of work that was going to go into getting ready but the way you lay-ed things out for me was perfect. You told what to eat and when to eat it as well as when to work out and what body-part to do on each day, that took a ton of pressure off.

When the show I planned on doing was cancelled and I was unable to find one to do I was a little concerned that I was going to be pushed on the back burner and I would not be a priority for you. But that was not the case. If I didn’t send you my information on time you were emailing or text me, you would text me to see how I was making out or even to just say have a great day.

I think the thing that showed your commitment the most was the weekend of the Arnold Classic I thought I would be doing you a favor by not sending my info and waiting to send the next week but you called me to say hey what was your weight and you didn’t send your pics today. That blew me away! That fact that you had just done something so huge and you were still focused on me and my goal. It has truly been an honor and I want to thank you again.

I am a personal trainer.I know it’s probably weird to think that trainers hire trainers… but i did. I had a real issue with the fact that I didn’t look like a trainer. I “thought” I ate pretty healthy. I worked out pretty hard. I did triathlons, ran a couple marathons… but still NOTHING! If I can talk the talk I needed to walk the walk of all of my clients. I wanted to give them someone to look up to. If I could overcome my issues, so could they.

I have such a passion for the health and fitness field that it killed me that I could never getto that fitness level that I so wanted to achieve. I had gone to watch figure shows time and time again. All of my friends would always ask me when it was my turn to get up there. I always answered with “it’s just not the right time”. Well, I finally had a revelation that there would never be the perfect time. I was about to turn 35 and wasn’t happy with the way I looked andthe way I felt about myself. I wasn’t going to celebrate another birthday feeling like I fell short of another dream.

So I called on a pro for help, Nicole Wilkins. She was exactly what I needed. She saw potential in me that I could have never seen in myself. She stripped my eating habits to only whole clean foods. No alcohol… no nothing! She set me up on a full strength training/cardio routine. I thought I worked out hard until I did a few sessions with her! She brought my ego back down quicker than I could do a jump squat. She was always available to me for questions, concerns and a little motivational push when I needed it. She also gave me the confidence I needed in order to step outside of my comfort zone and finally feel happy with the person that stared back at me every morning.

Michelle McKenzie

Where do I start? Our family has basically adopted Nicole. She currently works with my Mom, my Aunt, my Sister,my Wife, and myself. My mother met her first, and she has been one of the best things that has happened to her. My Mom bought me a package with Nicole, and I have been hooked ever since. My father is a Diabetic who is on several insulin shots a day. He has heart and kidney problems to go along with the Diabetes. I was headed for a direct collision with Diabetes and other health problems if I didn’t make some changes. This is where Nicole stepped in. Even though I thought I would die after my first workout, I came back for more, and man am I glad I did.Nicole has helped to turn my life around. She changed my diet completely and I am now in love with oatmeal as well as natural peanut butter, chicken, brown rice, and sweet potatoes. I used to drink 3 or 4 beers a night, now I only drink on a rare occasion.

The stats are pretty impressive. I was able to lose 42 pounds and put on some muscle. I went from 21% body fat down to 12.5%! My waist size was a 40, and now I am inching close to a 32, (I haven’t been a 32 in almost 20 years)! For the first time in my life I can see my abs!! More importantly my total cholesterol went from a level of 222 down to a healthy 176. My good cholesterol (HDL) went from 52 up to 62, and my bad cholesterol (LDL) went from 151 all the way down to 95. These are all considered optimal levels. The only medicine I used was Nicole’s nutritional expertise!

I can’t thank Nicole enough for what she has done for me as well as for my family. She and her husband Alan are truly special people. They have a passion for helping people improve their lives. So far she has been able to answer every question I have ever had about nutrition or fitness, she is like a walking encyclopedia. I can say many great things about Nicole, I mean after all we are talking about the Number 1 Figure Competitor on the planet. However the best thing I can say about Nicole, is that even though she is incredibly busy with all of the commitments that go along with being Miss Olympia and Miss International, she has the uncanny and rare ability to make you feel like you are the only thing that matters when you speak with her, send her an e-mail, or train with her.

I am excited of the progress I have made working with Nicole, but what excites me even more is wondering what is next in this life-long journey of health and happiness. How far can I push this new body? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Thanks Nicole, thanks for pushing me, thanksfor the incredible wisdom, thanks for your friendship, thanks for always being there, and most of all thanks for being you!

In March of 2008, I entered my first figure competition. Not knowing a whole bunch about posing, stage presence, diet, and anything else I needed to know, I called on a good friend from my gym. He helped me out pretty good…for a guy. Which brings me to show day….and I met a great friend in the dressing room. This was her 2nd show, so she knew my jitters! She looked so poised & polished, just then she had another girl come check on her & make sure she looked the part & was ready to go show off her “new” posing she had taught her! Needless to say, I was pretty envious of the client/trainer relationship and thought to myself, “THAT is what I need, another female that can come help me backstage!!”, since my “trainer” couldn’t even BE there on a big day for me!

I asked my new friend who that was, she replied with IFBB Pro Nicole Wilkins….”hhhmmm” I thought to myself, I think I may have seen her in a magazine, but not sure since I was so new to the sport. Anyways, I knew I was going to have to locate her online after the show was over before thinking about entering another one!!

I sent Nicole an email and she quickly responded, I set up an appointment to come in, along with my hubby, for some posing sessions. When we walked in to Top Shape Fitness, we felt so relaxed and at home! Nicole showed me the basics for posing for an hour and then we sat down and decided on a posing package…along with Ben asking about possible training packages for me! The second we got in the car to drive home, Ben said I think you would really benefit from maybe training with Nicole…..I was NOT going to argue with that =) I called Nicole the very next day and set up a meeting for my first session, and not too long after, Ben was in Top Shape Fitness training with Nicole’s husband…it’s a contagious studio =)

Needless to say, I ended up doing 3 more figure shows that season and 2 more in 2009, placing Top 5 in all of them, and MANY more to come with Nicole at my side! What a GREAT feeling, finally someone there to help me backstage, not only with my suit and such, but a GREAT friend to calm my nerves and support me!!

Nicole is now a BIG part of my life and she has taught me a way of life that I am so appreciative for! She’s more than just an excellent personal trainer, she pours her dedication out to each and every one of us that walk through her presence…Nicole is my best friend! With her by my side, I’ve learned to live an extremely healthy way of life for my children and set very good examples for them, showing them that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to!

I was working with a female trainer that suggested I compete in a figure show. At the time I had no idea what this was but I liked the sound of it. From that day forward I had it in my mind that I was going to compete in a figure show and I was going to do it by the time I was 28. I started to do my research only by looking in bodybuilding magazines. I continued to go to the gym and bounce around to different trainers that worked me hard but did not give me the direction I needed in order to meet this important goal. I also told my parents that this was something that I wanted to do. My mom was excited but my dad didn’t seem too excited about it.He made a comment to me that I wasn’t going to do it. After hearing that, I was bound and determined that I was going to compete just to prove him wrong.

About a year ago I found myself getting anxious about hitting my goal. I asked a trainer if she would be interested in helping me compete in my first competition. She sadly declined and told me that her passion was not in training figure competitors, but she directed me to Nicole Wilkins. When I met with Nicole she explained her packages and clearly communicated her expectations to me. We set a date that my first show would be her show in July 2010. Weeks later she sent me my diet. With that being said, I asked Nicole a million questions. I probably overwhelmed her with text messages and emails.Nicole always responded promptly and thoroughly. I appreciated her guidance so much. It was very specific down to the calories I would consume and the condiments I was allowed to use. She also sent me what my workouts should look like and the supplements I would be taking.

I happily began my 12 week journey to my first competition. I trained with her once a week. She pushed me in ways no one has ever done before. I struggled tremendously with the cardio portion. I hated it and didn’t want anything to do with it, but she helped me find the motivation.Through out the 12 weeks I had my ups and downs and she was there the whole way to give me that extra push that I needed. She understood exactly what I was going through and she knew exactly what to say. She cared and that meant a lot! Now the day of the show was the best experience! I felt so confident and prepared. She was there to support me and her other girls!

After my first show, Nicole asked If I would be ready to compete again in 4 weeks.I eagerly said yes. Three words that describe her are dedication, passion and humble. In addition to these qualities, you will also find a great trainer and an even better friend.Thank you, Nicole, for all of your hard work that you put in for me and your competitors!

Background: I have been an athlete as long as I can remember. I was a competitive soccer player growing up and continued to play all the way through college on a scholarship. After college, I started working full time still making time for the gym a couple of times a week, but I was longing for that competitive rush. I started competing in triathlons and even ran a couple of marathons.Still I was looking for something different and found out about a division of bodybuilding called figure.

I decided to started competing in 2009 and competed in a total of four shows from the local to the National level. I learned a lot that first year, but for 2010 was looking to get really serious. I met Nicole at the 2010 Arnold Expo, and asked her about her 12 week online training and competition prep.My first impression of her was that she was sweet and very professional. I was immediately hooked and decided to start training with the best of the best!

In March 2010 we started our 12 week prep for Jr. Nationals. This was honestly the easiest and most rewarding contest prep I have done. I thought I knew a lot about diet and training, but have learned so much more in my short time working with Nicole.

She has a knack for tailoring your workouts, diet and cardio for your individual needs. She makes the goals of the whole prep (and even the smaller goals week by week during prep) perfectly clear and gives you the motivation to achieve them. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of detail and individuality of the plans. She took all of the guess work out! Nicole is also quick to respond to questions, diet tweaks, and general questions about the industry.

I am excited about continuing to work with Nicole to achieve all of my personal fitness and competition goals!

Training with Nicole has been a journey I will never forget… she is nothing less of an absolute doll. She was quick to respond back as I reached out to her and was patient while I contemplated taking a big step in this industry. She not only helped to transform my figure with nutrition and workout plans, but also has a finishing touch with hair, makeup and stage presence. Even when things were tough, she would encourage me which meant more than anything!I will never forget being on stage in Vegas, feeling completely out of my league, but when I heard Nicole cheering me on, I instantly felt at home in my heart

Nicole continues to inspire not only myself, but countless people across the world as the wholesome, genuine woman who is full of knowledge in the health & wellness world. She is a well-balanced, true fitness model, who is fulfilling her purpose to make a great impact and lead others into a healthy lifestyle. Nicole h as imparted a piece of herself into my heart and I am forever grateful for her and her friendship. Thank you so very much Nicole!! You are a good steward with what God has given you and I am thankful to be a part of your life! There is a lot in store for you girl!!!!! :)

Jennifer Oleksiak

I started training with Nicole in July of 2009. I was at my heaviest I had ever been without being pregnant. At 37, I knew I had to do something because it wasn’t easy for me to just eat what I wanted anymore and not gain weight. I was athletic in high school, but never really needed to worry about what I ate. Nicole eased me into a nutrition plan that was easy for me to slowly adapt to. I wasn’t having to make drastic changes which made the transition easier.

As Nicole educated me on trying to make better choices in my daily diet, and cooking healthier I started to see changes which of course made me want to continue. Working with Nicole changed my life for the better. When a challenge launched in May of 2010 in a magazine, I asked Nicole if I should do and of course she said “yes”. So I did it, that was when I learned how to really stick to my diet plan and eat 6 meals a day.

My goal at that time was to have great before and after photos to submit to the magazine.Nothing was going to stop me. Nicole supported me the whole way through, even when at times I wanted to give in. I am currently in training to get ready to compete for my first bikini competition. After that who knows what the next goal will be, but I am always up for the next challenge.
